About Us

Born from lived experience and a passion for change, Mamas Matter exists to ensure no mama feels alone. We create safe, supportive spaces where families can connect, grow and feel truly valued.

Our Story

Mamas Matter III CIC was created from a passion to ensure every mama feels seen, supported, and empowered throughout their motherhood journey. We recognised that many families, particularly those from underserved communities, experience barriers to accessing meaningful and culturally responsive support.

Through connection, advocacy, and community, we have built a space where mamas can access support, share experiences, and feel a sense of belonging. Our work is rooted in listening to families, understanding their needs, and creating opportunities for growth, confidence, and empowerment.

Every mama we support represents a family, a story, and a journey. We are committed to walking alongside families with compassion, understanding, and purpose — creating lasting change one connection at a time.

About what we do

Our Mission

At Mamas Matter III CIC, our mission is to empower mamas and families through inclusive support, education, advocacy, and community connection. We are committed to creating safe spaces where every mama feels valued, heard, and supported, especially those who experience barriers to accessing services.

We work alongside families to provide meaningful, culturally responsive support that recognises their unique experiences, strengths, and needs.

Our Vision

We envision a future where every mama has access to the support, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive. Through community, collaboration, and compassion, we aim to create a more inclusive society where families feel connected, empowered, and never alone.

Who We Support

We support mamas and families from diverse backgrounds, including those who experience inequalities or barriers to accessing support.

This includes SEND and neurodivergent families, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, and English as an Additional Language (EAL) families.

We are committed to ensuring every family receives support that is respectful, accessible, and responsive to their individual needs.

Our Approach

We believe families are experts in their own experiences. Our approach is built on listening, trust, partnership, and respect. We work alongside mamas to understand their journeys, celebrate their strengths, and provide support that builds confidence, connection, and empowerment.
